A Conqueror’s Quest: My Journey to Freedom
I had written a letter to myself with tears streaming down my face and my hands trembling, but for the first time, my words didn’t feel fragile—they felt like fire.
I didn’t know it then, but that was the day I took my first step onto my Hero’s Journey—a Conqueror’s Quest to reclaim my freedom.
Since September 13, 2019, I have refused to call myself a victim or survivor. I am neither of those things.
I am a Conqueror of My Freedom.
I am the author of my own story.
I am no longer trapped in the cycle—I am the one who broke it.
I share my story—not just for me, but for anyone standing in the same fire I once stood in. For the one who feels trapped. For the one who feels like there is no way out.
THERE IS.
You are not the sum of what was done to you. You are bigger, stronger, and more powerful than they ever thought you were.
And no one will ever make you feel unheard or unseen again.

I once needed someone to hear my story, and when they did, it felt like a candle being lit for the first time. Now, it’s your turn to be that candle—share your story and light the path for someone else.
